The coolest thing for me, is that KTM is using a Perm motor. This sets things up for a good ol’ fashioned motor building battle between Zero/Motenergy and KTM/Perm, ala Ford and Chevy. Although, if you read this post from Ted’s blog you’ll know it’s more about a balanced system, and how much power can the motor handle, not how much it can push out.
